What We Monitor and Why?

We offer precise and accessible biomarker data to provide tangible insights into one's well-being. Our focus is on shifting from treating illnesses to empowering individuals with the tools to maintain their health. With MonitorYou, individuals can frequently monitor specific biomarkers to reduce the risk of heart disease, chronic inflammation, pre-diabetes, and lower triglyceride levels.

Our program is a targeted approach to understanding and improving cardiovascular health. It not only benefits individuals, but can also support research studies, track the benefits of supplements, nutrition and exercise, and demonstrate your value as an employer.

Biomarkers Monitored

Preventing heart disease by monitoring the right biomarkers extends life expectancy and productive years, bringing about significant economic advantages.  Implementing a program like MonitorYou can improve individual well-being and economic outcomes by prioritizing heart disease prevention.

This biomarker measures your average blood sugar levels over the past 2-3 months and is a biomarker for diabetes risk. Many cases of type 2 diabetes can be prevented or delayed when detected early so knowing your risk can help you act to modify your diet and lifestyle to improve your health outcomes.

High sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) blood marker provides a measure of the general level of inflammation in the body. Inflammation is a normal part of our body’s defense system. But when inflammation exists over a long period, that is when it can have a detrimental effect on health. Chronic inflammation is linked to heart disease, type 2 diabetes, some forms of cancer, autoimmune diseases, and many other health conditions. Because chronic inflammation does not always have obvious outward signs or symptoms, a sensitive blood analysis can help in detecting and monitoring chronic inflammation over time.

Triglycerides, a type of fat found in your blood, also make up approximately 95 percent of all the dietary fat we eat. They serve as the main way for our body to store energy long-term in the fat cells. High triglyceride levels in the blood are linked with a collection of disorders that increases the risk of developing diabetes, stroke, and heart disease.

Omega fatty acids (OFA) are a group of fats called “essential fatty acids” as they are exclusively obtained through our diet and are important to provide energy and support several important functions to keep us healthy. Within these essential fatty acids, it is the omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids that are of the most interest for their impact on health. Diets rich in foods high in omega-3 fatty acids have been suggested to be associated with reducing the risk of heart disease.

Fingerprick Sample Collection

Our at-home, self-sampling kit provides an easily accessible way to frequently collect blood samples. This provides individuals in remote locations or who are house-bound or time-poor a convenient way to collect samples and ship them via standard post back to the laboratory for analysis.
